Body of work

Feldenkrais centrum

Mascha Löschmann is an experienced body work practitioner, with qualifications from Cesar therapy to the Feldenkrais Method and many other modalities in between. One day Mascha was ambushed with a deadline to submit a paper to the Feldenkrais Guild in keeping with qualifications maintenance, and she asked me to interview her and write up her thesis. While the document ended up being submitted in a different format, what our interaction led to was a) that I discovered the work of Moshe Feldenkrais and b) I eventually wrote the copy for Mascha’s new website. However, what this job brought me most is an appreciation for soma and has made a diligent Feldenkrais student of me with a dedicated weekly exploration practice, under the tutelage of Mascha herself. (Thank you, Zoom!)

“Jane is someone who has the capacity to listen deeply to what you are trying to say yourself – but cannot quite manage to say clearly. She listens to the essence that is trying to find its way into words. Working with her helps you to refine your intentions by her (para)phrasing in her beautiful mastery of words. Jane has the gift of making words tangible – I recognised myself in a new way through her writing. She lifts the world with her talent. Hire her.”
